How we test
Every review on this site follows the same process. No shortcuts.
The 7 rules we follow
1. We pay for the tool
Free trials are fine. "Free Pro account from the vendor" is not. Once a vendor gives you a perk, your review stops being honest.
2. 14 days minimum
Two weeks is the floor. For workflow tools (CRMs, lead nurture), we test 30 days. We don't review on day 1.
3. Real workflows, not toy examples
We work with 3 practicing US realtors who let us run tools against their actual lead lists, listings, and follow-up cadences. We anonymize personal data.
4. Tracked metrics
Every review reports: time saved per task, cost per month, learning curve in hours, integration count, response latency. Numbers, not adjectives.
5. Screenshots from inside the tool
We take 20-40 screenshots per test. The ones in the review are real interface captures, not vendor marketing assets.
6. We say "skip" when warranted
If a tool doesn't deliver, we say so. About 60% of the AI tools for realtors we've tested in 2026 got a "skip" or "mixed" verdict.
7. We update reviews
Tools change. Pricing changes. We re-test every 90 days and update the article with a "Last updated" date.
